saying, “Music in the Park is wonderful
because it’s similar to the hometown
environment that many of us remember
when we were growing up.” Sharon Harris,
coordinator of the food vendors said,
“It creates a social connecting point
for our community, giving people a
chance to come together, celebrating
our town.”
Main Street’s Promotions Committee
lead by Jeanne du Norde worked with
Oscar’s Americana Bar & Grill owner
Jerry Bivens to schedule the entertainment.
The mission of this committee is to
promote Princess Anne for its commerce,
culture, and community life for residents
and visitors alike. It works out that
the same entertainment will be doing
their full sets the next night at
Oscars, for those that miss the Friday
